Hello!
I’m really pleased to be a part of Tokai Daiichi Kindergarten.
What better way to spend a day than playing with the wonderful children, and helping them grow into active, confident, and international people? I greet each bus load of children every morning, and join in as many activities as I can.
The kindergarten has a whole state of activities planned, and I’m looking forward to them all. There will be sports, outdoor trips, Zoo visits, special events, fireworks, and lots and lots of games and music. And the kindergarten has many wonderful facilities in a beautiful natural setting.
We’ll be celebrating festivals and events throughout the year as well. Christmas is always a fun time, and we’ll be pounding omochi at New Years. There is a monthly birthday celebration for all the kids with birthday that month. And at the end of the year we will wrap everything up with a big variety show, with lots of plays, music, and dancing prepared by the children.
My own hobby is making origami and other paper crafts, and I plan to find ways to share these with the children. Who doesn’t like origami? And kids are all natural artists! I’m excited to see what they make! I’m also found of reading, and I love looking at picture books with the children.
All of us at the kindergarten are open to ideas and suggestions, and we’d love to hear from you.

東海第一幼稚園で皆様とご一緒できることが本当に嬉しいです。
子どもたちと毎日遊び、活動的で自信を持った国際的な人に成長していく手助けができることは、なによりの恵みだと思っています。 私は毎朝、子どもたちと英語の挨拶を交わし、できる限り多くの教育活動に参加しています。
幼稚園ではさまざまな活動が予定されており、とても楽しみにしています。 スポーツ、屋外遊びや遠足、移動動物園の訪問、特別保育、花火、そしてたくさんのゲームや音楽が予定されています。 そして、幼稚園の美しい自然環境の中で日ごろ遊べることも大きな魅力です。
年間を通じて、多くのお祭りやイベントも開催します。 クリスマスはいつも楽しいですし、お餅つき体験があります。その月に誕生日を迎える子どもたちの誕生のお祝い会があります。 そして年度末には、子どもたちによる「はっぴょうかい」で演劇や音楽、ダンスなどを盛り込んだ大規模なバラエティーショーで一年を締めくくります。
私自身、折り紙やその他のペーパークラフトを作るのが趣味なので、それを子どもたちとできるだけ共有しています。 折り紙が嫌いな人はいないでしょう！ そして子どもたちは皆、天性のアーティストです。 何を作るか、いつも楽しみです！ 私は読書も好きで、子どもたちと一緒に絵本を見るのが大好きです。
